Hauberk - A Supplement for Chainmail
Hauberk is an expansion to the Chainmail game. Chainmail¸ originally produced by TSR and now available through Wizards of the Coast¸ was a game designed to simulate medieval combat and was flexible enough to recreate large battles¸ sieges¸ or skirmishes. It even had a supplemental section to help the enthusiast reenact the battles of fantasy literature. A copy of Chainmail is required to use this product.
Hauberk expands on Chainmail's skirmish and fantasy rules giving the players more spells¸ more weapons¸ and more opponents. It also offers a modified set of Combat Tables that simplify the combat procedure making it quicker and more intuitive.
Hauberk is formatted so it can be printed "booklet” style to closely emulate the font and size of the original rules.
Hauberk is posted as a "Pay What You Want” because it is a short expansion to an existing game. If you like it¸ feel free to add an amount to support Arpedege in my attempts to create unique and interesting content for Old School Gaming. If you like Hauberk¸ check out these other titles from Arpedege:
Stalag 14...A rules lite game about POWs resisting the Nazis in World War 2.
Campaign Generator...A fast way to generate plots¸ ideas¸ or starting points for almost any RPG campaign.
High Lords of Marn...A system neutral as well as genre neutral campaign setting.
