Out of the Past (BRP)



For two to six players¸ Out of the Past can be played in two or three sessions. Set in England in 1925 this scenario leads the investigators around some of London's most iconic institutions and out into the countryside to a sleepy rural village.

The investigators are members of The Society of the Beyond¸ an informal group of several dozen academics and enthusiasts all with an interest in unexplained mysteries and bizarre phenomena¸ based at the British Museum. They come upon a theft of Iron Age artifacts - human bones¸ an iron dagger¸ and a large stone slab - from the museum and uncover that some things are best left in the past¸ undisturbed through the ages.

Six pre-generated investigators are provided for use with this scenario¸ which plays both as an introduction to Call of Cthulhu (7th Edition) whilst also being a duly mysterious and horrific adventure for more experienced players.
