Gray Hands - a Waterdeep: Dragon Heist DM's Resource Suddenly and without warning¸ an opening appears in the obsidian tower before you. You hesitate¸ for you've heard many stories of Blackstaff Tower and the powerful wizards who've called it their home across the centuries. A firm¸ feminine voice calls from within the tower¸ breaking your trance: "Well¸ are you coming in or not? I haven't got all day. If you want to be a Gray Hand¸ you can't let a little magic give you pause!" In this document we explore the Gray Hands (also known as Force Grey) - one of the most interesting and unique factions available to player characters in Waterdeep: Dragon Heist. With inspiration from the source material¸ we've crafted three whole faction missions from the brief outlines given in the campaign book¸ complete with challenging encounter¸ beautiful battlemaps¸ entertaining skill challenges and unique treasure. Complete Gray Hand missions - Send your players up Waterdeep Mountain to battle bandits and manticores in "Monk on a Mountain"¸ have them wresting treasure from a shipwreck in "Deepwater Dragon" and lure them into a fight with a demon in the sewers of waterdeep in "Braincheck". You'll also find advise on how to set your party up for success if they undertake the fourth mission and venture into the Xanathar's lair to kill a mindflayer! Three battlemaps primed for digital tabletop - two of which are stunning maps graciously provided by Neutral Party.
