The battlefields of Armageddon 2089 are dominated by WarMeks. Sheer mobility¸ the ability to react to changing combat environments¸ and the level of firepower that can be carried on a standing frame makes them well suited for any kind of military exercise. Compared to the speed and endurance of a WarMek¸ machines like tanks and light armour seem simply inferior. In a world where WarMeks exist¸ anything else would appear to be a poor strategy choice for a military or a government to field. What place is there for a slow¸ bulky tank in Total War?
