Playkit Plus (PBtA)
A redesign of the Dungeon World playkit (playbooks+basic/special moves+GM section) with a new look¸ expanded class racial and alignment options¸ reworked bonds¸ and more!
Includes both an 8.5x11 and A4 size PDF copy¸ so those outside the U.S. can print it easily.
List of New Features:
- Complete race names and moves (16 new moves total): be an elf¸ human¸ halfling¸ or dwarf with any of the playbooks (Barbarian is still an Outsider¸ and Immolator retains the salamander as a 5th race).
- Reworked bonds for greater clarity. Now they more closely follow the rulebooks guidelines for writing new bonds.
- Elaborated basic and special moves sheet with more of the information from the rulebook¸ such as what entails leverage when you Parley.
- Quick reference section added to the basic and special moves sheets (still only 2 pages) with the rules for using cover¸ definitions for common equipment tags¸ and other useful tidbits.
- Hirelings sheet with everything you need for play on using hirelings¸ including the full text of all the hirelings with their skills.
- Equipment sheet that keeps the priced gear from the rulebook on 1 page for your table.
- Detailed starting gear so you don't have to reference the equipment list as much. Items also now have convenient tickboxes to track how many uses are left.
- Expanded alignment options for Paladins and Barbarians ¸ now they can both be "Evil¸" bringing them up to the standard number of alignments (three).
- Space to track HP¸ XP¸ damage bonuses¸ and weapon tags.
- Treasure generator from the rulebook is now part of the GM Sheet.
- The steading generator¸ and instant NPCshave each been squeezed on to 1 page sheets for GMs to have at their fingertips.
- And more... (a detailed changelog is linked within the PDF)
In the PDF you will find a link to the Google Doc for the playbook template¸ so can use the design with your own custom classes (it's CC-BY so you can sell them!).
Note: these are NOT form-fillable PDFs! They are for printing¸ just like the official playkit.
