Class: The Geis Knight (PBtA)



This playbook with wonderful cover art done by Nick Ladd is a new class for the RPG Dungeon World. The Geis Knight is a surreal blend of a ranged or combat character with strange support powers. The Geis Knight is a hero who has sworn themselves to a Geis¸ a mystical force that bestows fantastical boons at a cost. For every boon the Geis grants a hero¸ they must choose a condition they cannot break. If they would ever break their word¸ they will pay with their lives.

In addition to these boons¸ all of the secondary powers from the class are vastly different from each other¸ such as conjuring storms¸ creating bridges¸ turning people into flies¸ summoning fae¸ and more. All these powers come from Advanced Moves¸ allowing you to customize and blend all of these odd abilities together.

Also to note: everything in this class¸ from items¸ to powers¸ to races¸ everything is a reference to obscure Irish mythology.
