A Ship's Heart



A nautical horror RPG adventure inspired by Annihilation and Event Horizon.
A Ship's Heart is a system-agnostic 12 page adventure zine¸ fit for one shots or continuing games. It sees the characters trying to survive aboard a morphing ship¸ corrupted by an Entity which no one could understand. It gropes into physical and mental realities¸ dredging up whatever its claws touch. Characters will not just find physical threats¸ but emotional ones as things they would rather leave behind bubble up on deck. They might make it through¸ but they won't be the same as when they left port.
Discover what you are willing to leave behind to survive.
Explore the emotional landscapes of crew and characters as The Entity mangles their memories and dreams.
Struggle against the ship as it transforms into something not fit for this world.
