A Divorce of Druids and the Division of their Domain [Spring]
As agreed¸ you wait upon the hill. You intended to come alone¸ but a red fawn has taken to following you for the past few days. It chews on the grass at your feet. As always¸ your beloved is never late¸ although you have been waiting since dawn. Their arrival is heralded by the call of a large black raven and the wind seems to pause; a moment of calm descends. They always had a flair for drama.
They wear the traditional robes¸ freshly dyed in the deep blue of a plant that you do not yet know¸ and lean on an almost perfectly straight and uniform branch as a staff. There is a colourful spray of flowers that seems to be growing in their beard¸ and a bright green vine holds back their hair. They always had the ear of the plants.
You eschewed robes many seasons ago. You wear only the skin of a large brown bear¸ and carry only a smooth rock. You had suggested bowers in the woods for this meeting¸ but they suggested this place. You can see much of your land from here. They always had a knack for choosing.
You smile at them¸ perhaps showing a bit too many teeth. They nod back¸ but there is some warmth in their eyes. There are no greeting words in this ritual. You hear raven squawks again¸ and you look up to see a small murder circling above you. You sense it is time to begin¸ but you wait. They always go first.
A Divorce of Druids and the Division of their Domains is an I-Cut¸ You-Choose. Print-And-Destroy¸ Craft-RPG-Game Subscription Web Zine for exactly 2 players. It takes about an hour to play.
A Divorce of Druids and the Division of the Domains is a game about a druidic dyad splitting up and dividing their domain¸ which includes a variety of creatures and plants. The druids are torn between taking what they need to form a harmonious land for themselves and leaving their once beloved partner druid with enough to create a harmonious land as well.
It is a game about endings and beginnings¸ about being fair and about getting what you want.
