Curses! Acting upon orders of nefarious Cardinal Verdugo¸ villainous Diego de Silva plans to strike at the heart of the Thean economy: the guilder! Can your group of Heroes stop the evil plot and give the war-weary nations some respite? In a series of adventures¸ they will chase after de Silva and also:
- Brave a storm!
- Visit Vesten fjords!
- Take part in a ball in Montaigne¸ while a revolution is brewing in the streets!
- Investigate a curse¸ Witcher/Hexe-style!
- Assault the Villain's lair - a compound hidden in the middle of a cursed vineyard!
Gold and Shadows is the very first campaign book for 7th Sea 2ed. It consists of 4 linked adventures and provides about 20-30 hours of fun. It is divided into four chapters and each chapter offers five or more scenes¸ each with sample Opportunities and Consequences. The module also provides plot hooks¸ campaign tie-ins¸ NPCs and a lot of ideas to inspire your games.
If you don't like long campaigns¸ you can pick the module apart and choose scenes or other elements as you please.
