Bookend: The High Price of Love

This ‘bookend' adventure adds two more scenes to the excellent ‘The High Price of Love'¸ an Explorer's Society adventure by Heather Osborne. One scene occurs at the start¸ the other at the end¸ hence ‘Bookends'. Nothing in this product replaces or changes anything in the original; it just expands on a couple of the possibilities already available in the adventure.
So¸ obviously you should already have a copy of ‘The High Price of Love' to get the most out of this product. However¸ if you've already played it¸ you can still use these scenes in other adventures with a little adaptation.
In the first scene the player characters join a competition set at a lavish party¸ to see who gets picked to investigate the crimes.
In the second scene the player characters must race to stop an assasination attempt on the Montaigne Emperor himself!
